Three biodynamic wines, all grown in England, poured and talked through on a Monday night in November. We’re hosting this one with UK Vineyard Guide, the guide that maps more than 1,100 vineyards across England and Wales, and the evening is all about the wine on our doorstep.
The moon. A week on from the new moon in Scorpio, the moon is waxing, nearly half full, and sitting in Aquarius. This is the point in the cycle where whatever you started at the new moon needs a push to keep going. We’ll mark it with a short moon ritual, and close the evening with a Wineffirmation card pull.
The wine. The English harvest has only just come in. We’ll pour three wines from vineyards farmed biodynamically, which means working with the soil, the seasons and the lunar calendar. You’ll hear who made them, how the vines are farmed, and what that does to what ends up in your glass. No wine knowledge needed.
