Certification means a grower has passed the audit for Demeter or Biodyvin — three years of documented biodynamic farming, verified. Practising growers follow the same principles, the lunar calendar, the preparations, the living soil, but haven't sought the label. Neither one guarantees a better glass. Both mean someone chose to farm with the cosmos in mind.
