A moon tasting series in your venue
Biodynamic wine, timed to the new and full moon. Every evening covers how the wine was farmed and what the moon is doing that night, then moves through the wines themselves. You provide the venue and the wine. We bring the evening.
What it does for your venue
A wine evening your guests cannot get anywhere else.
Programming nobody else has
Biodynamic growers already farm by the lunar calendar. We have not found anyone else connecting that to the people drinking the wine — biodynamics and astrology, in the same evening.
The room fills from both sides
You have your members and your regulars. We promote every date to our mailing list, Instagram and TikTok. Our tastings sell out most months, and the room fills faster when both sides are behind it.
New faces alongside your own
The guests we bring are mostly women, 27 to 50, who follow wine, wellness and astrology — an audience worth having in the room alongside your own.
Content you can reuse
Every evening is photographed and filmed. You are named in the recap, the newsletter and the Reel, and the photography is yours to keep.
Formats
Ten to forty guests, two to three hours, one long table wherever the room allows it.
The Series
A recurring moon tasting in your space — new moon, full moon, or both. The strongest version by far: guests learn the date is fixed and start planning around it.
The Takeover
An evening built around a moment — an eclipse, a solstice, a launch, a seasonal menu. Bigger space, longer evening, more theatre.
Members' Programming
A private evening for members or guests only, shaped around your calendar. Add birth chart readings or a tarot reader for a bigger occasion.
Who does what
Everything is negotiable except the wine being biodynamic and the evening being properly hosted.
We bring
- The host — every tasting is led by Vino Cosmo's founder, Melissa
- The wine list, chosen for your venue and the moon phase
- The full evening: education, moon reading, guided tasting, card pull
- A Wineffirmation Card for every guest to take home
- Photography and content from the night, with you named in it
- Our side of the room — the mailing list, Instagram and TikTok promote every date
You provide
- The venue, seated at one table where possible, with candles if you have them
- Glassware and pouring support on the night
- The wine, or the budget for it — we select either way
- Food, if you would like the evening to include it
- A licence that covers the tasting
A track record you can check
We run a recurring Full Moon series at ELK Cafe and a New Moon series with Feminist Wine Bar, and sell out most months. We have also poured at Lume, at Lower Wine Bar, and inside Free People's Duke of York Square store for Chelsea in Bloom, where we co-created a card deck carrying their name.
Two series, every month
Feminist Wine Bar
A new moon tasting every month at Feminist Wine Bar, in their venue and on their wine. Their community and ours, at one long table. Sells out most months.
ELK Cafe
A full moon tasting every month at ELK Cafe, in their venue and on their wine. Their community and ours, at one long table. Sells out most months.
Ripley Wines at Lower Wine Bar
Ripley Wines is a biodynamic and organic importer. They booked us to co-host a tasting at Lower Wine Bar at £45 a ticket — their wine and their trade knowledge alongside ours, in the room together.
We took the room through the farming behind each bottle in plain language, and added tarot and birth chart readings alongside the wine.
Where a venue or a merchant already has the wine, hosting starts at £200. You keep the bar and the ticket revenue; we bring the format, the host and our side of the promotion.
Three shapes, and we are easy about which
We have run all three. Tell us how your venue works and we will suggest the one that suits it — and we will send the rate card either way.
You hire us — from £200
A flat hosting fee, starting at £200 where you already have the wine, the venue and an audience. You take the ticket revenue and the bar, and we run the evening. The simplest version.
We sell the tickets
We put the date on sale and promote it to our mailing list and socials, you promote it to your own people, and we share the takings. Best where you want a busy night midweek and would rather not carry the risk yourself.
We hire the space
You give us one price per person for the wine and food, and we do the rest. Simplest for restaurants that would rather sell covers than run an event.
Tell us about your venue
Send us the space, the month, and roughly how many guests. We will come back with a date, the moon it falls on, and what the evening would look like in your venue.
